What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Personal data that we process
Magnolia Harp processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
– First and last name
– Address data
– E-mail address
– Location data
– Bank account number
– IP-address
– Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence or by telephone/Whatsapp.
Please be aware that if you fail to provide to us information that we ask for, we may be unable to provide products or services to you or otherwise to fulfil your requirements. It is important that we hold current information about you, so please provide us with any appropriate updates.
Magnolia Harp does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check if a visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this consent, please contact us via nina@magnoliaharp.com and we will delete this information.
For what purpose we process this personal data
Magnolia Harp processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Handling your payment
– To deliver goods and services to you
– To be able to call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services
– To inform you about changes to our services and products (for example in our newsletters)
– To offer you the possibility to create an account
Comments and Reviews
When visitors leave comments or reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments/review form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Contact forms
When you use the contact form, we only receive the information you provided us with (your name, email address and the message itself).
Magnolia Harp does not use the information submitted through the contact form for marketing purposes.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Analytics
By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users.
Magnolia Harp does not use GoogleAnalytics or similar services at this point.
Who we share your data with
Magnolia Harp only provides to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal identification information to others.
WooCommerce
The webshop part of the website is created with WooCommerce.
(The following is copied from their documentation) WooCommerce collects information about you during the checkout process on our store.
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

Magnolia Harp accepts payments through Mollie, PayPal and Stripe. You can read their privacy policy on their websites. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to these companies, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
Magnolia Harp does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person.
